📦 Return & Refund Policy

At Modular Container Solutions, we stand by the quality of our space solutions. We want to ensure your experience is as seamless as the delivery of our units. This policy outlines our procedures for returns, cancellations, and refunds in accordance with South African consumer law.

1. Return Window

  • Standard Items: You have 20 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return for unused, stock-standard modular units.

  • Custom Builds: Please note that units customized to specific architectural plans or bespoke branding are non-returnable unless there is a structural defect.

2. Conditions for Returns

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

  • The unit must be in the same condition as delivered.

  • The unit must be accessible for collection (no permanent fixtures added by the client that prevent removal).

  • Proof of purchase (invoice or delivery note) must be provided.

3. Non-Returnable Items

  • Customized or modified containers (e.g., specific electrical layouts, custom plumbing, or non-standard paint).

  • Units damaged due to site preparation issues or customer negligence after delivery.

4. The Return Process

  1. Notification: Contact our support team at [Your Email Address] or call [Your Phone Number] within the 14-day window.

  2. Inspection: We will schedule a site visit or request high-resolution photos to verify the unit’s condition.

  3. Logistics: We will arrange for the collection of the unit. Note: Unless the return is due to a manufacturing defect, the customer is responsible for the cost of return transport/crane rigging.

5. Refunds & Restocking Fees

  • Defective Goods: If the unit is found to be structurally defective (leaks, frame instability, etc.), a full refund or replacement will be issued at no cost to you.

  • Change of Mind: For standard units returned due to a change of heart, a 15% restocking fee may apply to cover the logistical overhead and inspection costs.

  • Processing Time: Once the unit is back at our depot and inspected, refunds are processed within 7–10 business days via EFT.
